The 2011 Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP) International Conference and pre-conference workshops of the Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI) and Museum Computer Network (MCN) Taiwan Conference will be held at the Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan from Wednesday March 16 to Saturday March 19, 2011. The conference is hosted by International Collaboration and Promotion Division of Taiwan e-Learning & Digital Archives Program.

Since 2008, TELDAP Annual Conference has been a great success presenting the achievements and advances in the e-learning and digital archives field in Taiwan. Aside from presenting the achievements of the TELDAP, the 2011 Conference will further focus on the Digital Preservation as well as Digital Humanity and e-Science. Topics covered in the 2011 conference include: the citizen cyberscience and archives, innovative applications- content, data, and tools, scientific data and biodiversity collections, digital preservation, geographic information system (GIS) and sustainability.

The conference also serves as an international forum for researchers around the world to exchange their experiences, new ideas, latest research results and suggestions for future development. The shared experiences on developing digitization technology and applications will provide the Digital Archive and e-Learning community with invaluable references for future collaboration.
