The Dipsacaceae comprises about eleven genera with over 100 species worldwide, mostly around the Mediterranean region, but with a high generic diversity in the eastern Himalaya. Based on a specimen collected from Mt. Yushan, Prof. Bunzo Hayata published Scabiosa lacerifolia as new to sceince in 1906.
The technology R&D results of the Research and Development for Digital Archives and e-Learning Technologies Project have been put on display on the “digital archives multi-media results display” website. The state-of-the-art technology R&D results already on the website include old photograph restoration, film picture stabilization, cocktail watermark and VCenter platform technology. Everyone is welcome to browse through the research results.
