"Harmony and Integrity: The Yongzheng Emperor and His Times" features mostly works from the rich collection of the National Palace Museum along with 37 fine objects loaned from the Palace Museum in Beijing and others. Taken together, this display portrays the life and times of the Yongzheng Emperor along with the achievements in art and culture in his reign.
The National Palace Museum, Chi Mei Museum and China Times Media Sphere Communications have collaborated to present the Special Exhibition, "The Legend of Italian Violins: Treasures of the Chi Mei Museum." In order for visitors to better appreciate this exhibition of "sound," the National Palace Museum, for the first time, will provide the audio guide free of charge with all ticket purchases, so that visitors will not only see these invaluable masterpieces, but will also be able to listen to the beautiful music from the exhibit. In addition, the National Palace Museum is hosting a series of musical concerts. Visitors are welcomed to partake in this festival of art and music.
Following the footsteps of various botanists who collected plants in Taiwan since 1854, this exhibition introduces audiences to the natural history of flora in Taiwan with a special tribute to the plant Wuweishan Drupetea. "The Natural History of Formosa - An Exploration of Plants" exhibition will be held in National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung. We welcome you to discover the amazing story together.
The Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP) International Conference 2010 will be held at the Building of Humanities and Social Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan from Tuesday March 2 until Thursday March 4 2010.
