Tadao Kano arrived in Taiwan in 1925 and in his book Mountains, clouds and Formosan Aborigines he wrote of his deep affection for the mountains of Taiwan and their people. Now, in 2011, we have an opportunity, through the documentary Through mountain forest-Tadao Kano, to hear older generation Taiwanese climbers Yang Nan-jun Xu Ren-xiu, Liu Ke-xiang talk about Tadao Kano.
The 2012 Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP) International Conference will be held at the Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan from Tuesday February 21 to Friday February 24, 2012. The conference is hosted by International Collaboration and Promotion Division of Taiwan e-Learning & Digital Archives Program.
