Taiwan is not only famous for its IT hardware industry, in fact the government is currently making every effort to develop computer and IT related applications, digital content and the cultural and creative industries.
To give more people an understanding of the glittering achievements of TELDAP, the e-newsletter editorial team will, from now on, periodically post interesting images from our reporting work on the iPicBox platform established by Academia Sinica’s Institute of Information Science. Readers are welcome to browse through them!
Although the level of Taiwan market demand for e-book readers is still unclear, a company released its own brand e-reader in January. The price is around NT$9000 making it an “aristocrat” in comparison with foreign brands.
