數位典藏計畫二期的技術研發重點著重於Web2.0、長久保存、多媒體擷取、視訊強化與影像修復等核心技術，為讓數位典藏的參與者，對於這些技術有更深入的認識，「數位技術研發與整合計畫」將於98年11月9日（週一）早上九點半，假中央研究院資訊科學研究所一樓，舉辦「數位典藏核心技術研討會」，此次主題訂為「Social Networks and Its Real-World Applications」，邀請到IBM T. J. Watson Research Center林清詠博士、Yahoo Inc Senior Manager - Belle Tseng以及台大資工系徐宏民助教授等人演講，歡迎數位典藏與數位學習國家型科技計畫之成員，以及對數位典藏核心技術有興趣之民眾報名參加。
