李共同主持人曾榮獲潘文淵研究傑出獎（2001）、中華民國資訊學會榮譽獎章（2002）。2007年更榮獲德國宏博基金會頒贈給外國學者的最高榮譽『宏博研究獎』 (Humboldt Research Award)。2008年獲得第三世界科學院 (TWAS)院士及行政院國家科學委員會頒發2008年科學專業獎章三等獎，在學術成就屢獲得重大肯定。
